Kansas City Zoo Offers Free Admission to Picnic Guests

Kansas City Zoo is partnering with “The City Celebration and Appreciation Picnic” honoring the new Mayor-elect Sly James and the incoming Council to offer all 3,000 guests at the picnic free admission to the Kansas City Zoo on Saturday, May 7.

Guests to the picnic can show their picnic ticket at the Zoo’s Main Entrance between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. for free admission and enjoy the 200 acre lush zoological park and its 1,000 animals.

Saturday, May 7 is also Hallmark Wild Saturday when 500+ volunteers assist the Zoo in spring cleaning, sprucing and planting projects. Many happy guests and big smiles will be seen all throughout the Zoo on the zoo-wonderful day.
